WoodCutter is awesome. Axe throwing is super cool, but so are the guys and gals working here. Very expat friendly (they will explain the rules/process in English, Flemish, French, Italian… and I’m sure several other languages) and just very nice people!
I should say… axe throwing is not as hard as it looks, and a perfect afternoon of fun and competition. Sign up for an hour or more, as a group, two people, or solo, and they’ll show you how to throw, the rules (if you are interested in a proper match), how to stay safe, and teach you some tricks. Each “lane” has a scoreboard to keep track, and as we discovered once we got started, the winner of the first game got a free drink at the end!!

Overall, a great activity for a rainy day, a lazy afternoon, or those looking for a little competition! There is also a little bar in the front, and area to drink in the back so when the game is over the fun doesn’t have to stop!
- Friendly atmosphere
- Easy to get the hang of
- Great for a date or hanging out with friends
- Nice IPAs and men with great beard
- Makes time pass reeeeally fast 😉
